Bump and run  -  Shot designed to roll farther than it flies

A shot that is designed to roll (run) farther than it flies (usually, but not always, from near the green). It is a low-trajectory shot that is intended to get the ball rolling along the fairway and up onto the green. Similar to a chip shot, but played from a greater distance.
